Dave Gorgas is a graduate of the City College of New York as
a Meteorologist. He served aboard the USS Hornet as an
Aerographer then as a civilian Oceanographer with NOAA. He
also had a full career with the Bell System and went on to
found a digital music products company in the 1980's. Before
retiring Dave spent seven years in the teaching profession in
Computer Networking Technology. He was ordained for the
ministry in 2010. Dave and his wife Thelma live in the Prescott,
Arizona area.
Thelma Gorgas was a native of the Columbia Gorge, having
been raised in Hood River County, Oregon and Skamania
County, Washington. She graduated from Wy'East High
School in Odell, Oregon. Thelma worked in corporate
accounting and eventually owned a Columbia Gorge Art
Gallery specializing in Native American art. Before retiring she
served as the evening supervisor of a Columbia Gorge
supermarket. She and her husband Dave relocated to the
Prescott, Arizona area in the Summer of 2017.
